Due to customer demand, the M.B.C. model R2 is the newest addition to our line of American made welding positioners.
The highlight of the R2 is the 2″ diameter thru hole, that allows parts with features 2″ diameter and under to be located closer to the turntable. This eliminates the need for tall fixturing and ensures more precise welds. Additionally, this design allows for long length work or rear/bottom loading in both the horizontal or vertical position.
The convenient front mounted handwheel provides infinite tilt control between 90 degrees back and 10 degrees forward to fine tune welding angles. The large sealed roller bearing ensures smooth rotary motion up to the maximum weight capacity.
A rotary purge coupling is available as an option and can be easily installed and removed as necessary. To further increase productivity the R2 can use the same foot switch and chuck options as our popular BP-2 positioner.
